FAQs
How is a Corporate Retreat Boot Camp different from your other solutions?
A Corporate Retreat Boot Camp is an in-person, team development intervention, taking place in our Cyprus training grounds. There, we take professionals through a targeted workout of communication, inter-reliance, and self-management, by immersing them in outdoor, team problem-solving exercises that surface the behaviors we want to address. As such, the Boot Camp’s agenda is constantly being adapted to professionals’ progress through the exercises. And this is how we offer real-time assessment and development of each professional’s unique needs.
A Virtual Workshop is an intense, one-off synchronous training event of short duration (8-24 hours, split into a series of 4-hour sessions) that is aimed at quickly up-skilling professionals on a certain topic or serving as a learning refresher.
A Smart Course is an asynchronous development program, of medium duration (2-8 weeks), aimed at immersing professionals in personalized content and self-directed learning paths, in order to master a specific topic, completely customized to their personality and behavioral style. Smart Courses include: personalized videos, back-at-work tasks, assignments, coaching messages, simulations, and other mechanics.
A Bespoke Academy is a development program of a longer duration (3-18 months), aimed at achieving a set of strategic development objectives for a select group of professionals. To do this, we draw upon all of the tools in our toolbelt, such as Virtual Workshops, Corporate Retreat Boot Camp, Smart Courses, in-person training, learning videos, back-at-work tasks, company-wide and large-scale projects, simulations, coaching, questionnaires. This and much, much more, all tailored to your needs.
How is a Corporate Retreat Boot Camp different to a workshop?
Workshops allow us to upskill professionals. A Corporate Retreat Boot Camp however is an intervention that looks at behavior on a much deeper level.
First of all, the agenda is dynamic and not set in stone. During a Boot Camp we are constantly assessing professionals and tailoring our content and feedback in real-time.
As we progress, exercise after exercise, behavioral change becomes visible through ruthlessly direct feedback. Through a combination of psychology and communication techniques, professionals develop a deeper awareness of their behaviors and their impact on themselves, their team members and the organization as a whole. Participants leave the Boot Camp a stronger version of themselves.
And no! This is not team building. This is understanding team dynamics at a whole new level.
How does a Boot Camp fit as a Corporate Retreat activity?
Once you’ve chosen Cyprus as your Corporate Retreat destination, we help you plan an agenda that integrates the Boot Camp into your regular business meeting activities. It is a perfect kickstarter to making your meetings as productive as can be.
Do you plan the entire Corporate Retreat schedule for us?
Listen, as an L&D provider, we want to remain focused on what we do best.
However, our team would be glad to connect you to local vendors who can enrich your overall experience. For example, our favorite spot is the picturesque, mountain village of Kalopanayiotis, with multiple UNESCO-protected landmarks. The facilities of the village include 5-star accommodation (spa, winery, board room, gym, multiple dining options), some of the most scenic nature trails, and an array of external activities such as ATV tours, fishing, cheese-making workshops, etc. to be used as team-building add-ons to your meeting. Check out the hotel for a glimpse of the area.
What is the right team size for a Boot Camp?
But each group can range from 10-20 participants. We’ve put a lot of thought into the optimum team size because your professionals deserve our full attention and consideration.
For larger groups, offsetting the Boot Camp with multiple sessions during a Corporate Retreat week, is also possible. Get in touch with our team for arranging a familiarization call.
What is the duration of a Boot Camp?
Depending on your needs, and the topics and concepts you are interested in covering, a Boot Camp can range from 2-3 full days.
From our blog
The case of the disjointed team
The client, CMO of a reputable Forex company, approached us for teambuilding, for his marketing team. According to him, despite all of them being strong professionals, there was a lack of focus in the air, a big downpour of sheltered ideas, and a lacklustre “best practice” type of formulated creativity. Over-politeness was dictating the actions and contributions of most team members. Too nice to want to ruffle any feathers, challenge the status quo, and all that. Diplomacy was killing creativity and collaboration.

What if you could get more value from your next Corporate Retreat?
